; Chromo Emotions

ChromoEmotion explores the relationship between emotions and colors, combining elements of psychology, art, and design to better understand and utilize colors in emotional contexts.

Under the theme of slow fashion, I created clothing using various fabric processing techniques such as macrame, fabric Embellishment, and fabric painting, which can be said to be a printing method. All of these are culturally practiced in Sri Lanka.

I’ve used ....

01. Macrame

In this garment's production, I incorporated macramé, a technique used in Sri Lanka. This intricate knotting method adds a unique texture and artisanal touch, enhancing the garment’s design with craftsmanship and cultural significance.

02. Fabric Painting

As part of the garment production process, I incorporated fabric painting, adding vibrant, personalized designs to the fabric and enhancing the garment with unique artistic elements.

03. Fabric Embellishment

In this garment, I incorporated fabric embellishment, a technique used in Sri Lanka, to enhance its design. This element adds intricate detail and cultural richness to the garment, reflecting traditional craftsmanship.

Slow Fashion is a movement that promotes a more sustainable and ethical approach to clothing and fashion. In contrast to the fast-moving and disposable nature of the fast fashion industry, slow fashion is where consumers consider quality, durability, and the overall environmental and social impact of their choices when making purchasing decisions.

I encourage you to focus on your impact on This facilitates a shift from a perpetual cycle of trend-driven consumption to a more conscious and responsible approach to fashion. By prioritizing longevity, ethical production practices and reducing our environmental footprint, Slow Fashion aims to build a more sustainable and equitable future for our industry and the planet as a whole.
